Regional Innovation Networks
What is a RIN?
While the Calgary Innovation Coalition is focused on the Calgary-region, there are seven other RINs in Alberta to serve innovation-driven entrepreneurs.
Each Regional Innovation Network is made up of like-minded public organizations. They’re passionate about helping small technology and knowledge-based businesses innovate and grow, diversifying the economy and helping build a strong entrepreneurial culture in Alberta.
Regional Innovation Networks are networks that prioritize entrepreneurs and communities, aiming to offer programs and services that facilitate the development and expansion of technology and knowledge-based businesses in their respective regions. These networks consist of public organizations that share a common goal of assisting small technology and knowledge-based businesses in innovating and expanding, with the aim of promoting economic diversification and cultivating a robust entrepreneurial culture in Alberta.
