Since Alberta Enterprise Corporation (Alberta Enterprise) was created by the Government of Alberta in 2008, we have connected Alberta inventors, innovators and entrepreneurs to money, markets and mentors – by fostering a thriving venture capital (VC) industry in our province. We manage a fund which, via our venture capital partners, invests into technology and innovation companies.
Canadian Blockchain Consortium (CBC)
The CBC was founded to give a unified voice to blockchain technology and to support our local economy by making Canadians aware of the opportunities this revolutionary technology has been and continues to create. The CBC is dedicated to being a driving force to propel Canada's innovation to the world stage and help bring economic prosperity back to our country.
Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN)
The Clean Resource Innovation Network (CRIN) unites Canada’s oil and gas industry, innovators, technology vendors, academia, research institutes, financiers and government. By aligning priorities, addressing gaps and incentivizing innovation, CRIN will accelerate the commercialization of ground-breaking technologies through investments in research, testing and large scale field pilots.

Economic Developers Alberta (EDA) is Alberta’s only professional organization for economic developers. The organization is dedicated to advancing the economic development profession in the province by providing an active network of professional development, information and networking opportunities.
